eZ Web Contacts is an API encapsulated in its own eZ Publish extension. The extension provides a set of eZ Functions that enables an API user to query external service providers, such as Google and Yahoo, for web contacts.
Our office recently implemented a notification system framework and provided consulting for crowdSPRING, an innovative new website that brings buyers and sellers together from around the world for creative projects. First, buyers post their project needs -- whether it is a new logo, web design and/or functionality, print illustration, or any other creative need -- along with the dollar amount that they are willing to pay. Then, others respond by submitting their work. The buyer can then choose from among the submissions, such as dozens of logo designs, and pay the project winner.
